The tradition of dinghy sailing in Cadaqués is deeply tied to its history, and one of our missions is to keep it alive. We encourage both young and old to share our passion and become true sailors.

 

We offer dinghy sailing courses for everyone—adults, youth, and children—whether you’re just starting out or already have some experience.

At ONES, we have a variety of boats that are ideal for both learning the basics and improving your skills in a fun and engaging way. To support learning and keep students motivated, we tailor each course based on skill level, personal goals, and age.

PRIVATE SESSIONS

What are the classes like?

Courses last 2 hours, including reception and preparation before getting into the water. The lesson itself lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and follows this structure:

Reception, welcome and equipment preparation, introduction of the instructor and the group

Before getting started, a brief review of theory and key reminders, along with an assessment of wind and sea conditions.

Getting in the water and sailing session

Return to the school and clean-up of the equipment.

What do you need to bring?

  • Wetsuit: Recommended for thermal insulation and extra protection from the cold.

  • Sunscreen: Don’t forget it—essential to protect your skin and avoid sunburn.

  • Lycra clothing: Great for protecting your skin from the sun and chafing, and it also adds a bit of warmth.

  • Swimsuit: Essential for enjoying water activities comfortably.

  • Water shoes: Highly recommended for walking in the water and over rocks—helps prevent cuts and injuries.

  • Water: Staying hydrated is important, so bring enough to drink.

Choose your course!​

BEGINNER COURSE

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9:30 to 11:30 am

10-hour beginner sailing course (2 hours per day). Designed for those with no experience or only basic knowledge. The course begins with theory and practice on a Raquero (a group boat with an instructor) and progresses to sailing in pairs using RS boats (small boats for 1–2 people).

Groups of 4 to 8 students per instructor.

ADVANCED COURSE

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm

10-hour advanced sailing course (2 hours per day), aimed at students who already have basic sailing experience. The course takes place on individual or double-handed boats (RS Tera, RS Feva, Laser) under the supervision of an instructor from a support boat.

Groups of 4 to 8 students per instructor.

ADULT COURSE

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm

It’s never too late to start sailing. This course is designed for adults who haven’t had the chance to try this sport before or who want to improve their sailing skills. We offer both sailing and windsurfing classes.

Groups of minimum 5 participants.
